Deacon Dave’s Call Ends at Christ Lutheran, 2/23/2020.
To create a call opportunity for Kathy Sebree, a Ministry of Word and Service candidate approved for first call in October, I resigned my call to Christ Lutheran Church in Yakima as their deacon and Minister of Administration. I will miss serving there, and the people! I remain on-leave-from-call and available for something else wherever…

Byberg Preaching Workshop, January 27-29 in Seaside, OR.
Carolyn and I finally made it to a Byberg Preaching Workshop, a regional annual conference in the Northwest. Karoline Lewis, from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN, was the presenter on the theme “Conversation Matters: Preaching John in Matthew’s Lent.” Great information in a nice setting.
