September is a time for change! Â The school year is in full swing and Carolyn has moved to St. Paul, Nebraska! Â She has been asked to serve as the interim minister at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Nebraska, a community of around 2,200 about 22 miles north of Grand Island, Nebraska, 130 miles from home. Â She moved there Saturday, September 10 and will begin as the congregation’s full-time interim minister on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Â She’s very excited to be serving a congregation once again! Â She will still be a part of the “Fall Assignment Process,” whereby synod bishops select seminary graduates for congregations in their synods. Â A full-time call to a congregation is necessary for ordination.
Please keep Carolyn, the congregation of St. Mark’s in St. Paul, and the fall assignment process in your prayers!
